City Harvest is a program of the Trustees of Reservations, a statewide organization that works to preserve properties of exceptional scenic, historic, and ecological value for public use and enjoyment. Farming on the Bradley Estate in Canton, young people come from all over the City of Boston to learn about agriculture and caring for the land.
The farm sits on 109 conserved acres and provides a perfect setting for farm-based learning with its farm fields, active 300-member Community Supported Agriculture program, weekly public farm stand, and network of woodland trails. They are proud and stalwart vendors at both the Bowdoin Geneva and Mattapan Farmers Markets, showing their deep commitment to insuring that food access in and around the City is equitable and affordable.
We are thrilled to welcome Wil, Mel, and their team of energetic young people back to the market this season!
