Meet the Vendor: Heavens Harvest Farm

Food Access Featured in Edible Boston
This summer’s edition of Edible Boston features a great story about food access initiatives across Boston by journalist Steve Holt (@TheBostonWriter). The piece paints a picture of the different strategies being put to work to improve the food landscape across the city including many of the initiatives underway right here in Bowdoin Geneva. Truly good food for thought.

Meet the Vendor: City Harvest
Next up in our series introducing our amazing vendors joining us at the Bowdoin Geneva Farmers Market this season is our returning vendor from 2011, City Harvest Youth Corps!
City Harvest is a program of the Trustees of Reservations, a statewide organization that works to preserve properties of exceptional scenic, historic, and ecological value for public use and enjoyment. Farming on the Bradley Estate in Canton, young people come from all over the City of Boston to learn about agriculture and caring for the land.
